Loly Bonilla Born in 1991, Loly Roots is an independent Brooklyn-based artist from Bogotá, Colombia. Her disciplines include drawing, painting, tattoo and mixed media, where her work stems from a deep curiosity of the fantastical world and beyond. Since childhood, creativity has been Loly’s language, and today she translates that passion into a reality of different canvases, textures, media, and sounds. 

Much of Loly’s work and inspiration revolves around an original concept and theme she has named “Black Forest.” Within this thematic universe, Loly blends dark fantasy and psychedelia, creating unique pieces in multiple mediums that she continues to explore and refine every day.
