Leah is a local artist who enjoys creating in and with pieces of the natural world. Her work is site specific, with elements gathered from a given ecosystem, and highlighting color, texture and relationships in those spaces. For Leah, creative materials often include leaves, soils, seeds, stones, and other plant material– each carefully chosen and arranged to emphasize patterns in ecological communities, and to inspire connection with the more-than-human world.

She enjoys spending much of her time exploring Pennsylvania's State Forests– often through hiking and backpacking– and tuning in to its change through time.
