Elski is a trio of Yiddish music. From explosive klezmer dance music to meditative melodies, the group takes great pleasure diving into the multi-faceted depths of Jewish music tradition, while infusing it with the influences that has shaped each of them as people and performers through travels and migrations. Violinist and singer Eleonore Biezunski is joined by cantor, songwriter, dance leader and multi instrumentalist Sarah Myerson (vocals, poyk, and other instruments) and multi instrumentalist, composer, arranger and educator Ilya Shneyveys (accordion and other instruments) for a program of old and new music.
